Welcome to Doug Fairbanks's website. I started creating this website in the fall of 2005. At this point the website has photos from various trips I have been on. Sometimes I have updated this website fairly frequently while at other times I haven’t taken the time to add the photos to the website.

When I view photos, I like have them fill the screen. I want to provide that to the viewers of this site too. So on some of the pages I have provided the feature of viewing a high resolution copy of each photo by left-clicking on the photo. You will want to have a high-speed connection if you use this feature. One friend has reported that in Internet Explorer he had to scroll to see the whole photo. If you have this behaviour, click here for notes on what to do about it. Later, instead of providing the feature of viewing a high resolution copy of individual photos, I have created slide shows using and provided links to the slide shows. For more information, click here. I have also included some video clips of Eskimo rolls and contra dancing.

By the way, if you have come to this site via some search engine and wonder which Doug Fairbanks this site belongs to, I am the one that lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
